Installed new steering column (with key and ignition), vehicle cranks, still has power, but fuel pump is only giving out 60 psi, therefore, truck will not start. I shot starting fluid into the intake and the vechicle started up and ran. Question: is this part of the security feature, do I need to reset something? heard something about resetting the ignition? Please give me step by step instructions, or advise to your opinion. Any help is greatly appreciated... I've been messing with this for several days!

60p.s.i. is plenty for fuelpressure. Did th eold key have the diode in it that had to be matched to the security system? If it did you will either need to reprogram the computer to either take that feature out or have the new one matched. And was the steering column you putin the exact same year or from another one that"will fit or work". Are there the same color wires in the newly installed column. I'd bet you have a security issue here with the new column.
