1997 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 97 chevy cheyenne 1/2 ton with a 5.7 liter vortec. it take 5 to 10 tries to get it to start. once it starts it runs fine. its a real pain to start. i have changed plugs, plug wires, coil, and air filter. what am i missing.

if you did not, check your distributor cap and rotor, and also check your fuel pressure, you may need to replace the fuel filter.

- did you find the problem...? I have the same issue with my 1997 5.7L Vortec, and I am leaning towards injectors problem... but this is an expensive route for trial and error. I'll continue to fight with it until I am more sure that there is not another problem
