1993 Chevy Cheyenne Water temperature gauge

The water temperature gauge does not ever go up. it always stays under 100 degrees. I cannot get under the dash to look to see if there is a wire loose, but from what i could see, there wansnt one. right before we got it there was a piece of the windshield wiper motor that had to be replaced. i dont know if they had to get in the dash to replace the part

there are two coolant sensors. One for the computer and another for the guage. TEst the wire going to the sensor for power, it should be a low voltage light that blinks with a tester connected. If you see the gauge go up then it's a bad senderm if not the gauge is bad or the circuit panel behind the gauge assy. the wiper motor part was probably the circuit board for the wiper delay which doesn't require teh dahs bening torn apart.
