OK looking for some suggestions! The other day I took the boat out and all was good until I went to pull it out of the water. The truck had no mid range power and was idling poorly. Did a tune up (plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor) and it ran good but now it would not idle when cold. Had to rev engine for a few minutes to get it to keep running. Next I changed the fuel filter, PCV valve and a few vacuum hoses that looked worn that go to the carb. No improvement so I thought it was the Idle control valve and no luck...same cold engine issue. What else can I check? Could a bad fuel pump cause cold engine temp running issue? It basically feels like the engine isn't getting that extra RPM that it should for the first minute after it is started and it slowly dies. Runs fine after 5 minutes of warmup. PLEASE HELP! Thank you!!

No one posted anything...Guess you have to pay to get any attention! Anyway the issue was the coolent temp sensor. It was not sending the computer the temp and it was not adjusting the IAC properly so that is why is was running poorly. If you ever have strange problems like this do your self a favor and replace the CTS...only $10. Good luck!
