I have a 1970 chevelle ss and has sit in a garage for 7 years and has not been started. what do i need to do to get it running. do i have to rebuild the moter or can i just start turning the moter over and see what happens.

Replace the battery
change oil and filter
check air filter
check all fluids
if possible drain fuel and or add new fresh few gallons
and give it a crank
