1965 Chevy Chevelle V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

Does anyone know how to do this or know someone that can let me know if there is special linkage setup?
This transmission is in a '65 Chevelle SS that came out of an '82 Firebird.

if this is a 4 speed, then the hurst should have aplate or it may bolt up to the tailshaft and there should be a pin that you slide in under the shifter arm, leave the trans in neutral and hook up the linkage......
