Alright guys, so I have this celebrity. New engine dropped in about 60,000 miles ago. I just replaced the rod bearings and oil pump, and the engine for the most part cranks and runs fine. However, when you push on the gas, it hardly moves. Not like a clogged fuel filter, it's more like the transmission isn't delivering the power to the wheels.
-Engine RPM's spike (Car doesn't have a tach, so no idea what they're at exactly) and then dies down, all while holding the pedal constant
Could this be clutch slipping, something with the half shafts, or is the tranny finally dying on me? Thanks alot!
