1987 Chevy Celebrity Sticks in defroster Mode.

I have a 1987 Chevy Celebrity that sticks on defroster. Sometime I can here the door close & change air flow to floor. Doesn't anyone have a suggestion.

Check for a vacuum leak, the supply line from the manifold, to the control unit has a leak, or the reserve tank.
