1987 Chevy Celebrity Knock Sensor Location

I'm trying to locate the Knock Sensor on this engine. I have looked at everything on the driver's side that has a wire attached to it, but I can't seem to find anything that looks like the replacement I bought from the auto parts store. I'm guessing the OEM sensor is different from this aftermarket one I got. Can anyone point me to the darn thing?

for the 2.8L engine it is right rear of engine block, below the exhaust manifold. for the 3.8L it is at the top left side of engine, below the throttle body
