1986 Chevy Celebrity Trunk release relay

I just bought my '86 Eurosport and am in ht eprocess of fixing it up. The trunk release was not working so I went to the junkyard and got a actuator for the trunk release and installed it in the trunk. it worked for a day. I would press the button under the dash, hear a loud click, then the trunk would pop. The next day when I pressed the trunk release button I heard no "click". A guy at the autoparts store told me that it was likely the trunk release relay, and he sold me the relay for $10. The problem is I cant find where it is located. one source said it was in the dashboard and another source said it was in the engine compartment. Where is the trunk release relay located? I can't find it anywhere!
