I was on the highway when the car just stopped running. After I got it off the highway I found out that when you turn the key on the injector just dumps fuel in the motor flooding it out. At first I thought it was a problem with the fuel pressure regulator. But when I put another one on it did the same thing. A couple of people told me that it was the computer sending a signal to the injector to stay wide open, and to fix the problem I have to replace the computer Now the car is about a 120 miles from my home here in Saint Louis. And I need to be sure about what the problem is before I catch a bus up to the car to fix it. Can you help me with this problem??
