I have a 1997 cavalier z24 2.4L twin cam with 160,000 miles. My speedometer is late and only catching my desired speed late. It is not a smooth transition in the speed that is being shown it is choppy. I was lead to believe that is could be my speed sensor. If this is the problem where is it located and how do i change it?

Are u getting a check engine light on?. If youre speedo is bouncy or late reading, Could be youre speedo cluster acting up.

Good Luck.
