NO weird sounds

I replaced the 2 hoses (Top & Bottom) about 6 months ago. No problems until:

It began leaking radiator fluid but not near the hoses that I replaced, not the radiator nor around the radiator, not the reserve tank and not around the engine.

It is near the fire wall and it is a black hose small shaped like a sideways L. When I put my finger over the hose it stops leaking. It is leaking half of the fluids that I put in and keeping the radiator only half full.

Sould this black hose just have a plug on it or does it inter connect with the flow of the radiator fluid system?

If not plugged than what should it connect into for the fluid to stop leaking?

I would just replace the L shaped hose, Thats should stop youre coolant from leaking. Also has youre cooling system been serviced lately?.

This hose is a rubber elbow coming out of the fire wall pointing down & no fluid is leaking into the passanger side of the car.

To me it seems like it is missing a plug or a cap on this hose.

I have no air-conditioner in car b/c compressor is blown.

SO should I still have coolant system serviced?

Could this be a heater core issue?
