Here is my situation.
My clutch pedal went out and was stuck to the floor. After doing some research i replaced the Master cylinder and also the line that connects to the slave cylinder. I bleed the line and got all the air out of the line. I had pedal for about 5 min then lost it again. Also it appears to be dripping fluid from the bottom of the tranny casing. Is this the slave cylinder that has gone bad? and i understand i need to remove the transmission to replace it will the transmission unbolt from the engine and drop out or do i have to remove other items? also should i rebuild my clutch while i have the engine out as i have 80000 miles on the car.
Thanks
Reuben

I suppose this is the only way to do this; You may have to drain the transmission, remove the axles, remove the transmission, install the new cylinder, then replace the transmission, axles, add new synchromesh fluid to the tranny, and bleed the clutch hydraulics.
