I would like to know how to check the transmission levels

Engine and trans should be at normal temp. Start engine, move through gears, put in park.
On level ground, engine running, remove dipstick and check fluid, add if needed.
Trans fluid is red, orange fluid would indicate Dec-Cool coolant. Check for coolant leaks while you are at it.
