2003 Chevy Cavalier oil pressuer

I have oil coming out of the dip stick tube. It looks as if there is mosture in the crank case but I have not had any significant loss of performance. I want to know what may cause oil pressure to rise so much that it would come out when I remove the dip stick.

Use a mechanical oil pressure gauge hook it up where the oil sending unit and check the actual oil pressure-could be the oil pressure relief valve.
