I just had my car in for repair and they diagnosed that the AC Compressor Clutch is rattling (it does make a lot of noise and is irritating). Is it feasible that they are just able to change the clutch to resolve this issue? If so what kind of cost would I be looking at?

labor rates are a big thing. call around to find the best price in your area. and yes they can just replace the clutch to take car of your concern

thats another one, depends on if it is after market, or factory replacement. if you call your local dealer and place like auto zone then you can price check the part for the best price. usually i like going with factory but in this case they are about the same quality.
