I recently had my tires rotated. Very shortly after it was done I started to get a "rubbing" type noise from the driver's side front wheel. I took it back to the place the rotation was done. They hoisted the car up with a person inside. He put it into drive and accellerated a bit so they could tell what kind of noise it was making. While the front passenger tires was spinning when the car accellerated the driver side front tire (the one the noise was comming from) was not spinning at all. I am wondering (in your opinion) if you thought it was a wheel bearing problem or something more serious, and thus more costly.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!

I am not sure if it does turn like the other one when turned by hand. The car was not up on the hoist for very long. Pretty much as soon as the one tire spun when the accelleration was used and the other one didn't it was brought down.
What did you mean when you asked "does the drive axle on that side of the vehicle?"
