My 1998 Chevy keeps showing the ABS light most of the time when I press on the brake pedal. What cold be the cause of this problem?

Inspect brake fluid level and brake pads. When was last time brakes were serviced? May also be a faulty ABS sensor on one of the brake assemblies.
