Suspension problem
1996 Chevy Cavalier Two Wheel Drive Automatic 260000 miles
so i just bought my 96 cavalier in the last week and now i have some noise issues. there was a strong brake judder at both high and low speeds so i replaced the rotor which was mentioned to need replacing (front driver side). all shaking went away for about 10 minutes and now it seems to be slowly settling back in to its old problem. on top of this there is the above mentioned noise problem. starting at about 60kph it there is a grinding/rubbing sound in the front end that increases in speed and pitch. would this be the wheel hub? is there an easy way to tell which side the noise is coming from? and would taking care of this problem also help the shaking brakes?
thanks
