Electrical problem

I am having an intermittent problem with the fuel pump not coming on. It seemed like if I would move around the wiring panel under the hood where the relay is, the fuel pump would finally come on. But sometimes it seems like if you just wait. It will magically come on by itself? I am not sure if it is related to a wiring problem or the security system.
My daughter spent 300.00 to have repaired sometime back. But the problem keeps happening and seems to happen more often now. Any suggestions or tips? Can you bypass the security system to rule that out?
