1995 Chevy Cavalier timing?

Hi my car started losing power and has a choppy idle. It doesn't sound like skipping. I replaced the spark plugs which had a lot of oil around 2 of the plugs from a leaking valve cover gasket. That did not solve the problem still the same choppy idle.

Sart by checking fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge. If low, then pump or clogged filter.


If presure is OK then check spark on each cylinder.
If spark is bad, the have ign. module checked at most autoparts stores for free.
