Hey i was reading in other forums just this morning about a similar issue... but ford. Thier issues was a blower motor resistor. Apparently that when the fan is set on high the resistor is bypassed and the fan works. when you set to a lower speed the resistor comes in play and if its bad or corroaded its not working. If this is same for chevy as well you should be able to see this under the dash or behind the clovebox attached to the fan assembly? thier replacment cost them $20. I hope this helps point you in the right direction... My heater isn't running at all.
