When my cavalier started to do this i thought it was my tires until i found out my master cylinder was pissing out fluid and my back drums were messed up. I fixed both problems and a month later my car was shaking everytime i braked. My friend asked me if i used my emergency brake since the drums were fixed and of course i said yea. I replaced them again and never used my e brake again and the problem never returned! Hope this helps!
