1993 Chevy Cavalier A squeaking noise

Start by checking front wheel bearings for excessive play.

Also check your tie rods. If they are damaged or loose in anyway they will have to be replaced - have you hit any curbs or any obstructions with that sides tire (or even the opposite side if hard enough)?

That's what happened with my truck, bad rain, slick road, going to fast on a down hill turn, slid into a curb going way to fast....messed up both side tie rods. Had that same kind of noise problem. There was some "play" or "looseness" in my tire rods and I would get a squeaking noise at low speeds and my car would drift to one side at higher speeds, it also caused severe un even wear on my tires too. Had to buy new tie rods.

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically.

Any play would indicate bearings, tie rods, control arm, ball joint.
