1993 cheverolet cavalier 230.000 2.2 One of my spark plugs blew out becuase the threads were stripping when i was getting my plugs and wires changed.... I put a healia coil in it and it held for like 2 months but it wasnt put in very good cuz i did it myself? Is there a way that i could maybe put more threads in it and put a bigger spark plugs in it since the ones that are in it now will no longer fit because the thrreads are so stripped?

i think its time to pull the head and either have a machine shop fix it or just replace it they are faily inexpensive , oversize plug wont work and if it did it would be unsafe , if you fix it right it wont give you any more problems , also try anti seize on the plug threads of the plug when replacing them next time it will let the plugs come out easier

If you're replacing the head or even taking it off to have a shop work it you'll have to replace the gaskets as you go. More than likely you'll get a whole slew of gaskets when you purchase the head gaskets and you should probably just replace all of them as you go. If you attempt to use the old gaskets you more than likely will do more damage. Also you will have to get new head bolts due to the fact that these models use torque to use bolts. If you try to reuse them you can end up with leaks and eventually destroying the motor.
