I have a 91 cavaliar and when the engine starts to warm up, the engine goes from a 4 cylinder to a 2 cylinder and makes a lot of weird and loud noises coming from my muffler. Theres time I've gone up hills and went 25 miles an hour. Meineke said whoever put my ignition on screwed it up and it burned 2 coils? Is this so? What should I do? If their right is it worth fixing the coils and the ignition to keep this car running?

Test the coils to confirm if its defective-could be a crankshaft position sensor problem
