1990 Chevy Cavalier Fuel tank

Hello I am working on a 1990 z24 n im having trouble dropping the tank to get to the fuel pump and replace it. is there any other way to get to the fuel pump i looked under the back seat and there was nothing there i took to bults in the front off and it looked like almost a hinge i coulndt pull the tank down found two bults in back and cant get them off they will not spin i have put penatration oil and everything on them nothing. would it be safe just to bend the straps remove n replace the pump and bend back to place? wat could i do

Drain the fuel tank, Raise car on a hoist.
Disconnect the fuel gauge sender assembly harness connector from the body harness connector.
Disconnect the ground wire retaining screw from the underbody (if used).
Disconnect the hoses from the tank gauge assembly.
Remove the fuel hoses at the tank from the filler and vent pipes.
Support the fuel tank and disconnect the two fuel tank retaining straps.
Remove the fuel tank.
Remove the fuel tank gauge assembly and seal (gasket).
Remove the sound insulators. INSTALLATION:
Install the fuel tank gauge sending unit assembly and seal (gasket). NOTE: Use a new seal.
Reinstall the sound insulators.
Position fuel tank in place, while supporting the tank.
Connect the straps. Tighten the front fuel tank retaining strap bolts to 33 Nm (25 lb.ft) and the rear strap nut to 12 Nm (106 lb.in) specification.
Connect the hoses to the fuel tank gauge sending unit assembly.
Connect the hoses to the filler and vent pipes. Tighten clamps.
Connect the ground lead to the underbody (if used).
Attach the fuel tank gauge assembly harness connector to the body harness connector.
Lower car.
Refill the fuel tank.
Inspect for leaks.
