Brakes problem
1988 Chevy Cavalier

when i press the break pedal it hits the floor with no pressure at all. i thought it was because i had a hole in the break line, so then i replaced it. still no brakes. then i thought there was air in the lines so i blead the breaks, still no breaks. the master cylinder is pushing pressure, so i don't know what it could be???

Check calipers and wheel cylinders for leaks, check flexable hoses for leaks, check all steel lines for leaks.
If OK, then bleed brakes starting with rear, furthest from MC, bleed all air out, go to next furthest from MC, ending with closest to MC.

If still no pedal, brake are bled as described, and no leaks, then the MC seal is bad and MC will have to be replaced. MAKE SURE to bench bleed the MC before installing.
