i have an 01 cavalier. at around 60 mph it starts to get a shimmy. this then goes away around 63 mph. i replaced, on both sides: ball joints, tie rod ends wheel bearings. there is no noise involved. just the shake. i also changed tires and rims and no help. does not get worse when cornering. shake is not violent enough to cause any handling problems. PLEASE HELP. THIS IS DRIVING ME MAD. could it be the rotors?????

I would suspect something more like drive axles, or maybe engine mounts. It might be a ign of something going wrong in one of your drive axles. I would inspect them, and see if they meet all specs. As for your engine mounts, if the engine sags a little, it might mess with the alignment of the drive axles.
As for the rotors, if they were warped or out of balance, I would suspect the vib would get worst the faster you go.
