1995 Chevy Caprice HOOD RELEASE

I pull on the hood release and nothing happens. I tried using a smal vice grips to grab the wire and pulled but still nothing. how else can I pop the hood?

If cable has detached from latch it's going to be a problem.

Raise car, put on stands, remove front left wheel and plastic water shields.

See if you can get a hand up to latch and pull.

Inspect assembly and replace cable or latch or both.
