I recently bought a 92 Chevy Caprice from a private owner. All seemed fine at first but then the car started cutting off on us. it seems whenever I stop giving it gas it starts to cut off. I have to throw the car in neutral and give it gas repeatedly just to keep it from cutting off at red lights. Also as soon as you crank the car up it sounds like its idling and wants to cut off but then runs smooth until you put it into gear, and then the problem I stated earlier persist.
