HOW DO I INSTALL A POWER STEERING PUMP

Hi:
First disconnect the battery. Next, remove the Belt. Next remove both the high and low pressure hoses. NOTE: You will loose fluid when these are removed. Now you will need to unbolt the pump. There should be 3 or 4 bolts holding it on. Remove the pump and replace it with the new one. Reverse the procedure to replace.

Fill the new pump with fluid, and turn the steering back and forth. Make sure to check the fluid level and refill it as it falls.

Do I have to bleed the ps system and if so how do I do so ?

Yes the new pump will need bled. You will need to lif the front of the car, fill the pump, and slowly turn the steering back and forth several times. Do this until the level no longer drops. (also, don't start the engine) Do this with the engine off.
