SO i drive a standard 97 z28 camaro 5.7L v8 with 86000. my service engine light came on so i scanned it and it said MAF malfunction and idle control malfuntion i believe. so i removed the MAF and cleaned it along with the throttle body. the next day without being driven yet the rpm's werent goin great. when i pulled it out of gear it would either lower or raise to 2500 to 3000 and wouldnt go down until a complete stop. Also between shifts it would go to that rpm level either raising or lowering. Not sure what it is. Also i believe it to be an after market MAF because there is one cluster/harness goin in along with another cluster/harness with electric tape around the holes. not sure what that is but they are wrapped together and have the same reach. Any help yall can do i would really appreciate it.

If you got trouble codes for 2 sensors, I would replace both of them, That should correct youre problem.
