power window motors

i have a 96 chevy camaro with 101,000 miles on it. its a 3.8 liter v6. i recently had to replace my passengers side windows. I have never done this before. I came across a problem, the protectors were in with rivets or something and i had to saw them off, well the windows ok but now i need power window motors in each of my windows and they are in with the same thing . Is this a doable job for a complete novice who is just trying to spend money. or should i just buy the parts and have someone else do it. thanks.

It is doable, but you could have picked an easier one, that vehicle is what I would call borderline for a novice.But if your feelin froggy........jump.To start off, you will need a rivet gun capable of 1/4 inch rivets.
