I have a 1988 IROC-Z w/5.7 automatic. The high blower is not working. I have replaced the relay, resistor, and the switch in the dash! What am I missing? There is a red wire to the relay, it has 12V at all times, ignition on/off and all blower speeds, but as soon as I switch to high it goes to 0V

I believe that just leaves the blower as the problem.

Looking at the wiring diagram, I see ther is a 4 amp in-line fuse on the red wire, did you check it?

Brian, Keep the posts on the forum Please. I may have had the wrong diagram before, but this is what I see:

Based on what you replaced, If the fuse is good, check the continuity of the PPL wire and the ORG wire. This should be the fuse:

I spoke with a friend who said he felt that the fusible link to the blower is going bad and that it can handle the lower speeds, but when high is on it cuts out. That is why the hot at all times goes to 0 volts on high.
