Have replaced the following:
Fuel filter, air filter, MAF sensor, spark plugs and wires,
cleaned injectors, replaced cat conv (junk), hesitates only when fully warmed up in any gear when rpms are at about 1500. Coils test good. Codes showed misfire in cyl 1 and 5. fuel pump repl 15K miles ago.
Hasn't given me any trouble until now (except for fuel pump. Have owned for 5 years/50K miles. Oil and coolant good. Cond made worse when air cond on and have passengers (high load/low rpms). No symptoms when engine cold. Bad injector? Bad ignition module? O2 sensors?

Hi 02redcamaro, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation.

If the clutch is not slipping -Check the sparkplug, compression and injector for no.1 and 5 and also test the throttle positon and manifold absolute pressure sensors to include the EGR valve.

Thanks for the reply. Clutch not slipping, spark plugs and wires new (and good), wondering if driving it with plugged cat converter caused any damage to something else. Ideas?

A clogged catalytic converter will cause the engine not to start, lose power and cause overheating-the engine is not breathing right-

rasmataz -- I believe that I have solved the problem...
Replaced ignition coils -- SHAZAM!! Misfire went away,
at least for now. What I believe happened is that when cat conv went bad, exhaust backed up, making the engine run hotter, coils are on top of drivers side valve cover and EXHAUST MANIFOLD,
coils degraded, couldn't work once heated up, unless they just went bad, hard to believe after only
80K miles though. If it still runs good after a week, I'd say I found the problem. Too bad trouble codes don't identify coils.
