I have a 99 Z28 Camaro, and i just replaced both the ac belt, and the main belt. Now there is a steady squeaking noise coming from that area. When the car is cold it makes the noise, but when you I have drove for about 10 minutes the noise goes away. I don't know if its a tensioner or a bade pulley, or something else. I hope someone can help me thanks.

Your belt tensioner is adjusted too loosely. When your engine is cold, there's a slight play in the belts and they are slipping just enough to cause the squealing. As your engine warms up, the play tightens and the noise goes away.

If you don't adjust the tensioner correctly, the belts will wear prematurely.
