Hi, i recently jus brought my car to this local shop for what i thought was the problem the oil pump, so heres the story i brought my car there and the guy told me he was gunna replace my oil filter adapter because there was a crack, he tells me the price for the part(100$) and then 5 days later he calls me and hits me with a 700$ bill.. never did he once give me any kind of estomate on what the price would be to fix my car.. now is he trying to scam me? and what can i do to get my car back without paying that 700$ bill?
