i have a 1999 z28 camaro, ive installed long tube headers, k&n cold air intake, changed most of the pulleys, has no cats because of the 3" off road y pipe, and i have corsa exhaust, re did the suspension, and added some MSD coil blasters, MSD super conductor wires, new spark plugs and a super chip programer as well as drill slotted rotters, the car also has a new water pump, but the only problem im having with the car is this sound coming from the engine that sounds like a if a bearing has gone out, almost sounds like skateboard wheels, the sound comes and goes, what do you think the sound is coming from

Doing performance mods to a motor with 93,000 miles is a "No, no."

You are increasing the power output of a motor that can barely make the power it was designed to make.

As for the "Skateboard wheel" sound, that is probably a rod bearing. But it could also be a camshaft bearing or lifter.

Checking compression on all cylinders may eliminate the camshaft/lifters (But not always).

Fluctuating oil pressure would indicate a spun rod/main bearing (But not always).

The only sure fire way to locate the source of you noise is to tear the engine down.
