Noises problem
1996 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150k miles

I have a 96 camaro v-6, 3.8. It is very slow to start but fires up ok after it runs for a while but makes a really bad sound when it does start. At first i thought it was the water pump bearings going out ( the sound it very similar ) but the pump is new & after more inspection the sound appears to be coming from the throttle body area. The sound goes away after running the car for about 5 min ( unless you hit the gas). I also put my hand over the intake ( just barley ) & it dies immediately. There is a slight knock in the motor as well & i don't think the people i bought it from maintained it well at all good thing it was cheap. Can anyone help please?

have a pro in your area look at this. things like this are very hard to diagnose on the computer and really need to be looked at and heard to give a proper diagnosis.
