WHEN THE CAR IS IN PARK THE BACKUP LIGHTS COME ON AND IF YOU GIVE IT SOME GAS IT WILL WANT TO TREY TO MOVE IN REVERSE AND I HAVE TO SET THE EMERGY BRAKE TO KEEP IT FROM ROLLING BUT IT STARTS IN PARK DO YOU THINK SOMEONE HAS MESSED WITH THE LIKAGE AND HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM

It sounds like the adjustment is off. If its a floor shifter with a cable the adjustment will be on the d-side of the transmission. Adjust it to lengthen the cable and it will then click into park, Dont forget to block your tires, you will probably have to move the shifter a into nuetral a couple times.
