Hi, this problem so far as stumped 3 different mechanics and also the chevy dealer.
when I am at a stoplight my car will rev up to 1500-2000 rpm and act like it wants to take off. If I take my foot off the brake it really only goes forward a tiny bit.
my mechanic says it can't be vacuum because I have some item on the engine that suggests the opposite would happen if a vaccuum leak( rpm would drop)
there are no codes to read..no service engine light..and this happens almost all the time but never 100% of the time..but it is getting more and more common when I drive.
