I had to replace the fuel lines that run from my engine compartment, down to the chassis.
I didn't relieve the fuel system of pressure like I SHOULD have done, and when I disconnected the lines at the chassis, I spilled a large amount of fuel. I had some trouble hooking up the new lines, and in the process I spilled probably a couple of gallons of fuel on to my driveway beneath the car (which I soaked up the best I could with available materials)
My question is, should I be concerned about starting my car when the lines are all hooked up again?
I know gasoline evaporates very quickly, especially when it's outside. And as long as the lines are hooked up correctly, I wouldn't think the car would be affected. But I want to be sure.
