MAF sensor location

MPFI V6 could not locate the mass air flow sensor within the duct. Is it possible that I do not have one or is it under the plenum. And I have replaced the fuel filter.

The 3.1 engine doesn't use a MAF sensor. It uses a MAP sensor in place of it.
