1991 Chevy Camaro vat system

You have to measure the resistance on the key
buy the resistance from radio shake
locate the wires under the steering and cut the wire (orange tube wire and inside it two white wires )
connect the resistance between the two white wire

dont have key to get the ohms from,we tested all ohms all 15 no luck we got resisters from radio shack.please help ty john

Check fuses check fuse #9
disconnect battery and reconnect than try again
its to old to try and get you the resistance through GM

hi,gm does not have the vat code on there computer can i find it somewhere else it a 91 camaro i gave them the vin shows it all but not the vat code help ty john
