Engine Performance problem

i have a bad fuel pump i believe. i read online that my car shuts off while driving do to a fuel problem... i have changed my fuel filter and it helped alot but it still shutoff off on me. i do kno the the carburator was clogged and i used fuel injector cleaner to clean it out. It worked some but i think it still my be clogged. my main question is can a fuel pump on my 91 camaro rs be replaced with another model car or jus camaros?
