1988 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

put new plugs wires dist and rotor on car stalls out when slowing down or at a complete stop acts like its flooded when trying to restart . what could be the problem could it be the speed sencor

Welcome to the forum, if your fuel injected, I'd take the throttle-body off and clean it. Also check for codes?

Usually if the problem occurs when braking, it's an idle air issue, closed throttle. The vss can effect idle air control. I think your headed in the right direction. Have a good day.
