Transmission problem
1978 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 0
I have a turbo 350 transmission and you must manually shift the gears up and down, no detent cable hooked up and vacuum blocked. It has a B&M shifter kit for street/strip in it as well. Also has an aftermarket shifter. Currently when I shift down to first gear, the transmission starts in second gear, when i shift to second it does nothing, when i shift to drive it shifts. I checked the shifter cable at the transmission and it clicks through all gears, i even took the cable off and can manually shift through all gears, but transmission still will not engage first gear. Any help will be great, or if you need more information i can help. Thanks.
