I had a 4 wheel disc brake system put on last year and the brakes have never seemed to operate correctly. I had to put a reserve vaccume cannister on in order to get enough pressure to operate the system. I thought they seemed pretty good after that only to discover that after about a 10 mile trip, the front brakes were smoking hot. I could really feel the car dragging. I read on another post that the cause could be the master cylinder not releasing fully. My question is how do you fix the adjustment. I have already shorten the the adjustment on the pedal and it has full extention, but now I have a spongly pedal. Could I have boiled the brake fluid allowing air to get in the line?

Bleed the system again and also inspect front brake hose could be collasped inside acting as a one way check valve and also the caliper piston could be binding.
